Been coming here for years a s don't think I'll ever stop. Staff and vibe is great. Can't beat the feel of this classy pub.

Excellent service and even better food... Taco pizza was out of this wonderful world.

We go to Zig Zags a couple times a year, Winter Carnival and Can Ams Rugby Tournament and we always have a good time. This past weekend while a group of 10 of us were there, the Pub turned on Women's Rugby without us even asking, and it made my entire weekend!!

Caitlyn is the best bartender. This is a great bar if you just want a drink and hang out. Perfect place to stop by for a beer with a great selection of craft brews!

I was on vacation in lake placid from brooklyn ny i went on multiple times i met the owners brett and dave and dan dave the bartender jake caitlin and cassy they were all very friendly made the best drinks nice enviroment i will always visit when i am in lake placid

Most reasonably priced bar on the strip! Friendly staff, quite clean and I also enjoyed the fact that there's two dart boards.

Reasonable bar. We had fun though the owner was on a serious power trip. Enough to make us leave and end the night elsewhere.

Named after the infamous S-bend in the 1980 bobsled track, this place is a fantastic dive. Excellent whiskey and tequila selection and great prices, plus pool and darts to keep you entertained!

Great place even on a Monday night, good prices and the bartender rocks! Met some new people, made some new friends and otherwise had a great time!

Fun place

Went there with friends and the bartenders were friendly at first but then got extremely rude and as a bartender myself I was extremely put off. I had been here before in the past and was excited to bring friends from home here for our weekend in Lake Placid and was terribly dissapointed.

Great atmosphere and great music, but most importantly: Incredible drinks and Dave is one of the best, most personable, and most easily likable bartenders I have ever encountered. Cannot rave about this place enough!!

Busy and very loud. Cool the hang out with the sliders. Fun local bar. Don't sit in the Bobsled outside for a pic.. The locals pee in it! 😂😂

Home town bar on the main drag. Comfortable

Very chill bar that fits perfectly in with the vibe of a ski town. From the photos and my experience, there are often friendly dogs here! Solid pool table and darts. Be sure to take a look at the old photos scattered around to bar. Great place to stop in for a few drinks or spend the whole night.

Wish I could give it a zero. Bartender needs to get into a new line of work cause they sure dont have people skills.

This place is good in price and bad in attention the bartender no have good trate for the customer and aditional all time is drunk you order the drink and you receive bad attention

A nice selection of beer on tap and a neat venue. However check your tabs when you pay. Ours was nearly 2 dollars more when we went to pay then it was when we ordered

Great locals bar

Was fun until the bartender (pudgy white guy) told us we’re not welcomed because we’re gay. The guys in my family were playing darts and hugging and he said something along the lines of “we don’t welcome guys touching other guys here.” They’re not even gay! We gave him an opportunity to clarify but he decided to call us “fags.”

Characters galore in an authentic Lake Placid Bobsled-Themed Bar. It's BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) if you're hungry. Otherwise there's a great selection of beers and spirits, pool table,, darts, foosball and often live music to entertain you. It is a local and tourist favorite

Can't make a margarita worth drinking. Atmosphere mediocre.

Good bar with a decent beer selection. The music was a little loud for conversation but the songs were good.

I've been here twice and twice I've been overcharged on my tab. You gotta watch them. Plus, if you sit in the back of the bar, the employees smoke under the air intake out back and make the back bar smell like an ashtray. When I asked the bartender about the smoke, he smiled and walked away. It's a shame, because this could be a great dive bar. Instead, pass it by for better Lake Placid options.

It was low key, ok local bar. I don't think the beer list was as good as advertised.

Great local bar in the heart of Lake Placid

Another "locals" hangout. The staff and owner are very accommodating and you never know if the person sitting next to you is a past Olympian or the local game warden!

Always love visiting this place. Rough around the edges and laid back atmosphere make a great combination for a good time. Stop in the next time you're in the area if you like good drinks in a casual sports bar atmosphere.

Relaxed in the evening with some beer, pool, and darts! Lots of fun and even dog friendly.

Fun with a local feel.

Fun pub with fun atmosphere. This is one of the friendliest bars in town, and if you're a history buff you'll be in heaven. Foosball, pool, and darts give you fun activities with friends, and music from local artists is a regular occurrence. Make sure you get a photo in the bobsled out front, this is a local icon!

This is a Lake Placid bar with a pool table, humble tables & chairs, and locals. We had a lot of fun, because we were not interested in a quiet place to have a drink.
